The 2006 AGM of the Hurling Club took place on the 26th of November. A large attendance was welcomed by the chairman Mickey Grealish. In his address to the meeting, the chairman thanked all those who had helped out through out the year. He included in his thanks all officers, managers and selectors of teams, all committees and players and members who contributed to making 2006 a good year for the club.
Special praise was given to the Camogie Club for a very successful year and also the Juvenile hurling committee, who also had a very fruitful year. Gerry Giles was congratulated on winning an All Ireland medal with the masters hurling team.
The chairman highlighted the huge development, which is taking place where two new full size pitches are in the early stages of development. Mickey Grealish thanked Gerry and Helen Grealish for making this property available to the hurling club.
