Carnmore's First U-15 Title Win

Rahoon………3-5 Carnmore………4-5

The West Board under 15 final was played in Mervue recently. The game was a credit-to both teams in hurling and sportsmanship. With their huge following behind them Carnmore started very well with three goals in the first ten minutes and looked like coasting home when they led by 4-4 to 1-2 at half time.

However, back came Rahoon to play a blinder by scoring 3-3 with Rahoon piling on the pressure the Carnmore goalkeeper and his defence pulled of some wonderful saves that put seniors to shame. As the final whistle blew, Carnmore held on by one goal to take their first ever juvenile title and by the looks of this team it won't be their last.
